Spent a weekend in the area so have used this pub several times. Food during the evening was ok, mixed grill steak was inedible and the chicken breast dry. Not the fault of the staff, one of those things that even a cook wouldn’t necessarily know unless they tried to cut my dinner up for me. We spoke with staff who were really good. Didn’t put us off from revisiting the following day for breakfast which was really good, would recommend the waffles Benedict.
I agree with one review though about the queuing to order. If you haven’t been here before it can be difficult to see one queue for 2 tills.

Lively busy night, ordered on the app but food was fast, hot and tasty, service and checkbacks were on point and definitely will return :)

This is our favourite eating place, food is great and staff go out of there way to help, our waiter Bob is a really nice pleasant man and always smiling top class

We were stood in the queue to order some drinks as we couldn't order what we wanted on the app. We were stood in the queue for about 10 minutes as other people were ordering food and drinks. When we got to the front of the queue we were told by the bar staff that there was only one queue and we would have to join the back of another queue. Despite being in the queue longer than other people we were told we had to join the other queue. A very disappointing experience and not one I expect from Hungry Horse and a real damper for my husband's birthday.
